What you need:
-
6 “vowels” (a, e, i, o, u, and y), one “1,” one “l” (lower case L), and one narrator
-
16 pieces of thin poster board (for “1” and “l” and each “vowel” – each one gets two pieces)
-
16 pieces of string
-
1 black marker
-
Hole puncher
-
Projector and screen (for underlined words)
What to do:
-
Write one large “i “ and one large “I” on two poster boards
-
Write one large “a” on two poster boards. Do for all other vowels (lower case only). Do the same for “1” and “l”
-
Make two holes at top of each poster board (one on each side)
-
Run string through both pieces of poster board (keep semi-loose; you’ll need enough room so one is in front and one is in back of you) and tie
-
Slip over head
