The story within a story. That’s what I think of when I read a dedication written inside the cover of a book. Yet, these are not from an author or illustrator’s pen; these, while they flow from ink, come from the heart.

They can make you laugh, cry, and perhaps, most of all, wonder about those on the page and the book’s most interesting path to your door. But, they will always contain words to someone else’s story that may just impact your own.
